I own a 250lb english mastiff. He will be five this St. Patrick's Day. He is a spoiled baby. Today, he did something that blew my mind. (He does this often by the way.) My big dog who hates summer and anything warm, sat by the dryer waiting for me to take his blanket (that he lays on) out of the dryer. Once it was out and I laid it on the floor, I expected him to avoid it until it cooled down. But NOOOO, he immediately laid on it and started to roll around. He then lay down with this look of utter bliss on his face. I too love to put on socks fresh from the dryer in the winter. But considering that my dog loves the cold and hates a warm anything else, I wasn't expecting this behavior. I guess the power of the blanket beats all. LOL.

that is so cute. ha! he must have wanted to feel warm this time. he sounds like a very smart dog to wait by the dryer for his blanket to be done.

Yes, he is very smart. Sometimes too smart. He has figured out how to hide "bad" behavior. I swear sometimes he is worse than a child. Trying to keep up with him and keep an eye on him to make sure he is not getting into trouble is definitely an job. Gotta love him though. He is just too cute for his own good. He knows it too.
