fall in love to a widow

My brother have fall in love to a widow who has got a kid 2,5 years.he is very love to her ,when his mother know that her son fall in love to a widow she is very angry and smack him and not to talk again with him.
what does he want to do ,to leave her mother or to leave the girl who loves?
Please advice what must he do?

If he is truly in Love he should follow his heart. We all leave our Mother and Father to find happiness for us. We try to respect their wishes but sometimes we can not do this. It does not matter if the woman is a widow, if he truly loves her then go be with her and be happy. The Mother will change when she sees the love.

This is actually a culture problem for Asian like us. I just don't get why some peoples don't like such marriage. I am understand that, a mother always want the best for her child. But what can we do if it's his or her fate. When a widow marriage a bachelor guy, others will talk about them. Same goes to the age also...most of peoples put the age of a girl should be younger than the guy when they want to marry. I just don't see the problem in future for this age matter. I am very proud with our culture but at the same time i think peoples should open their mind and think positively in their life. Your brother's problem for instance, it's not a big problem. What i suggest to him, that explain nicely to his mother and try to show that he is doing a right decision. If the widow is a nice person then there is no reason for the mother to reject her. Your brother also must make sure that he is doing the right thing when decide to be with the widow.

leave it on him to decide because he is not gonna listen any of you so, it's better to decide by him only ,what to do next
