What happend to Sharp Electronics?

There was a great company called "Sharp Electronics - Japan", now its having very little market share in India.. How is it doing in your country.. I hope they are doing very fine in other countries except india.. what do you think?

Seems to be hanging on here, but not nearly to the extent it used to. Used to be that sharp made everything here and now I rarely see any of their products.

I have been wondering to know.. they have been releasing too many products in the market.. still people say that they are not in the market as they used to be earlier.. what happend in the mean time?
