are you open-minded?

i think one minded person is knows that there are other beliefs might not always be correct.i try to be open-minded,but i also realize that i am firmly grounded in my opinions, and this greatly impacts the way i respond to other opinions.i know that diversty of opinion is generally a good,but sometimes i do not understand how someone can feel a certain way about something that i do not agree with.
what you think about open minded?

open minded, i really dont know what does open minded thinking actually means, but i feel i am an open minded person. Always ready to talk on anything, wether it is about love, relationship, studies, or anything...

See, what you have given here is something which cant be related to the subject. One thing you needa uinderstand is that, the person himself is the last one to know about his own mistakes and its not a problem if you express your view about others and being open minded. But for a generic matter, noone can argue with you being openminded as its your own perceptive.

One can be openmided with telling the truth in front of another. the person should have the courage to accept the truth.

If u have cultivated a habit of dilactical coversations you will be automatically open minded. After living most of my life in Paksitan before coming to UK for studies, I find that this is seriously lacking in all walks of life. I think Pakistan should encourage dilactical thinking in it's textbooks so that the next generation can keep up with the rest of the world.
