Is there a way to promote your discussion, so you can get a lot of responses?

I love responding and reading to responses in my discussions, because most of them are true to life experiences. Most of the time, i am asking advices. I would like to have as many opinions as possible. But then, I get a few answers and responses. How can i promote my discussion? Is there a way i can do that? Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks.

I'm not sure about promoting your discussion, but you already got the right idea by putting your post in the form of a question. It also helps to post during prime time, or when more members are usually online. I would estimate about the middle of the day even though I'm usually on late. In addition I think if you have a good friends group you should all make it a point to at least view eachothers profiles and respond to your friends and have them respond to you. This will push you to the top of the list after every response, and last but not least put your post in a popular category like mylot.
