Why divide when we are multiplying ?

Why is it that churches today are dividing, meaning starting a new church in every corner when they are increasing in members or numbers. Do God really wants this kind of thread, Did God design this or Man I believe God want us to be united not divided what do u think your opinion will be much appreciated
