Does anyone think that there will be/should be a third book to the Eragon books?

I feel that there should be, to let you know what else happens to them after what all happens in the second one. It would be a disappointment if it just stopped there and left you hanging.

I do agree with you. If Eragon ends in the second book, I think many fans will feel disappointed. The problems aren't solved yet. Btw, I've heard that the third book of Eragon will be released this year, is that true??

I haven't heard about that. The main reason I made this post was to find out for myself and to get others opinions about it. I will check into that and see. If I find out anything, I will definately post it. Thanks for your reply and I will let you know as soon as I can find out anything about a 3rd book.

Yes there is a 3rd book...There are rumours that it will be released on march(yuppii)...I don't know what's the name of the third book...but i know that i am waiting that book from a long time now :)

Well, there is definitely a third book. Its a trilogy after all. It is supposed to be call Inheritance and a paragraph is printed in the second book as its preview.
