I am still reading the book " life strategy" for phllipe C.MacGraw, what made me surprised he said we are totally 100 % responsible of what happens to us, for example, sometimes people don't treat us right, but how you react to such issues you face what really count and what you are responsible off, so for instence your boyfriend cheated you, you can react by dwelling to deperession and blaming him for your hurt. Or you can take the full responsibility, and admit you missed choosing the person to trust and you need to be more careful on whom you put your trust on. Valuing the lesson you learn believing it was a miss shot and you will find your true love someday.
what do you think of what he says ?

I think when things go wrong for us, we can always have a choice, either to blame it on other people or to accept what happen and turn it into valuable lessons for us. Through my own experience, blame it on others never makes the pain go away, nor solves the problem for me. Often it makes it worse, because I fail to see as much as other is to blame, I have always have my share of causing it to happen.
But I cannot say we are responsible for everything that happens to us. Some things happen beyond our control. But I believe that we are responsible for how we react to that.
