As I am fair skinned, I have no visible eyelashes or eyebrows so I am thinking of getting them dyed/tinted. Have you ever done this and do you recommend it?

Thanks for adding me, us fair skinned gals have to stick together ha! So do you think that tinting is a good thing? The idea of having my eyelashes done does worry me but it seems like a good idea.

Yes I've done it. There is a product in the UK called Dylash. It contains a tube of color and paroxide. You mix it up and apply it like mascara. Now apparently in Australia a similar product was taken off the shelves because a girl had a bad reaction to a similar type of product. When I was in the UK I found this and purchased it cause I couldn't get it in Oz. I do have sensitive eyelids and I have used it without a reaction. But that's not to say you won't have a reaction. I don't like mascara as it makes my eyelids very tired and I have very light colored eyelashes so this is a good alternative.

No I have never tried it and I don't think I would as the Eye Area is very Delicate Do you wear Mascara as that is better I think then getting them dyed You can get all Colours of Mascara now so why not try that first But if you do go for getting them dyed then go to a Proffessional don't try it yourself just in case

Don't think I fancy the idea of tattooing, too painful! I don't need to regrow them just to see them.

I didnt knwo you COULD dye your eyelashes! or your eyebrows for that matter...what about using a slightly darker than normal brow pencil and mascara? or does that not work for you?

Yeh I've done that but I wanted something a bit more permanent. This is why I asked the question so if anyone had it done they could tell me if it was worthwhile - obviously not so far ha!

I know you can tint your brows, but I would leave those lashes alone, just use some mascara. You should go to a professional for the brow job I would be afraid they would turn orange. I would love to see the final result :)

They already seem orange to me before I even start ha! which is why I wanted them a different colour!
