I have always wanted to see this spectacular natural phenomenon... I would trade my retirement benefit just to see this. Who among those members of myLot community have seen the aurora? Would you be kind enough to describe it to us.. and how it feels to see it?

I've seen them once or twice, they're not so often this far south in Norway and they tend to disappear with all the lights in the city. One day I plan to go north in the winter to see them, it's not that far, I just have to have something to do in the daytime; as there's not a lot of light sightseeing won't be a good option :-)
They're a bit difficult to explain, and I haven't really seen the best ones, the big multi-coloured ones.

I think so too. Well I hope you've already seen it by now. I myself haven't seen it yet.

Bosing Auroras are beautiful indeed. A good sense of humor you have here. Thanks for joining in our discussion.

I live in northern BC and we do get them here. They are beautiful. Usually we just get the white ones but once in awhile the blue and green come to. It's so amazing to watch. I've woken my son up just to come stand in the yard with me and watch them. I know that there is a scientific reason for them and that they can be explained easily but when your under them just watching them dance across the sky... that's magic I don't care what the scientists say about it :)
