I use d default windows software called windows movie maker. I think its pretty good. U can use any kinda video format and editing is very easy and effecient. And the final video becomes pretty small since it gets converted 2 wmv format and even the quality is good!

I use Adobe Premier also. I would say that out of all of the editing programs that I have used it is the best, well at least the most user friendly. It has everything that you need to make great videos, and it is put in simple ways, which makes it very easy to use! I would suggest starting there, and then maybe build on from there!

Adobe Premier Pro is perfect professional tool for video editing, from your personal mini DV or any existing video file and when you make movie select the video format as Microsoft DV Avi. if gives good quality, but the problem i'm also facing that when u save it on your computer it save as .avi file but when i copy it to CD or DVD it loose its quality can you refer any proper way to me.
