My home and family

Home is the best place to be. Especially when we are young if we had strong family ties. I know I miss being young and at home with my siblings all cozy. God Bless

Home is the best place to be when your home feels like a home. In my case, I love being at home because my kids and husband are there, and in our room, we feel it's home. But the whole house doesn't feel like home. We live with mother in law and she's not giving us the best time of our lives here, in fact, sometimes it feels like we're in hell. She doesn't show love in this house, she doesn't even communicate well with her son and daughter and sometimes their conversations lead to fights. She doesn't even check on things if we're ok or what, she doesn't even care what stories you tell her, like what happened to you during the day or what. I didn't grow up in a house like this. My parents showed us the real meaning of love and how it is to live with your family in a real home. Here it is not like that. In fact, we all have our own lives here, my sister in law just stays in her room the whole day, my mother in law takes up the family/tv room the whole day (imagine! sitting in front of the tv the whole day), and we're just in our room. That's how it is here, that's why I hate waking up here every morning. The only best place here that feels like home is inside our room.
