What is your favorite verse from the Bible?

Most people who read the bible have a favorite verse or passage. What is yours? Or maybe you aren't very familiar with the Bible but can only remember one verse that stands out in your memory - what is it? Please share with me :)

My favorite Bible verse is John 3:16 It states " For God so love the world the world that He gave His olny begotten Son that whosoever believe in Him shall perish but have everlasting life".

That is MY favorite too! It is also the only verse I know by heart. It is a very powerful verse and one that every Bible reading person should have memorized. I was hoping someone would say this one :) Thank you for responding!

Romans 8:28: All things work together into good for those who love God... I obey God but problems arise as they can never be avoided and so this verse make me strong. God is in control and He knows everything. He knows what He is doing and He will not forsake me. There's nothing impossible to Him and He could always turn hardships into joy. God wants us to be happy and enjoy with abundance in our life on earth.

Another great verse! Thank you so much for sharing. I like how it has helped you to stay strong during hard times. I also have a little prayer verse (not from the bible) that helps me out during times of conflict. It says: "Keep my soul from being troubled by situations I cannot control" I keep it on my desk to remind me that there are just some things that I need to leave in his hands and trust that he will do what is right for me. I always feel a sense of relief when I read that saying. Thank you for sharing your favorite verse.

This is My Favorite one and I use it often!! This is from the NCV Holy Bible but it says the same thing in King James. Joshua 1:9 Remember that I have commanded you to be strong and brave. Don't be afraid, because the lord your God will be with you Everywhere you go. Wow! I Love this verse!!
