pentium // AMD ???

My rig runs on the brains of an AMD 64X2. It seems to be a good performer. I have been using it for about a year and have had good success. There are better cpus out there. I don't have one yet though.

Pentium Core2 Duo...Much better than AMD Athlon

since AMD is better than Pentium I prefer Pentium.

AMD will always beat intel they hit them with athlon i.e 64 bit processors. now they have got X2 seriees for core 2 duo... n if you guys don't know only the processor of core to duo costs around 50000 Rs... n now for the final knock out AMD is releasing their QUAD core processors, octal core processors n multi core processors this year.. have fun.....

im a practical user so i dont have any brand preference, i buy the one that gives me the most bang for my buck. i had a pentium 1 coz it had mmx then i switched to amd k62 coz of 3d-now then athlon xp coz of their built in memory controller and now im back with intel coz their core architecture is as of the moment the fastest there is...

amd for me coz i own an amd 2600+

i think that pentium is the best..... pentium and microsoft are made for each other so if u want to run windows then pentium will suit it better than amd....

p4 is the best.....
