WTF america is doing?

1) Most of America's money does NOT come from investments in oil located in Arab countries. 2) After 9/11 when our country was attacked on our own soil, Bush had to do something - our people were screaming for blood and revenge. 3) The terrorists had almost NO ties with Iraq and numerous ties with Saudi Arabia BUT Saudi Arabia is a primary leader among the oil producing countries so Bush did not dare risk losing access to all of that oil while the US is dependant upon it. 4) Saddam Hussein was an easy target. He had been terrorizing his own country - killing the Iraqi people and putting them on a path back into the dark ages - limiting education, electricity and other basic necessities. So they trumped up some charges and went in. Now they are trying to stabilize the country so the Kurds, Shiites, and Sunnis can all live together without trying to kill each other off every day.
