shall i have to join IT or go on with my higher studies????

i am doing my mechanical engineering and recently got placed in one of the top IT companies with a good salary......as it is in not my field of study i am in confusion to take it or leave it.....they offered me a very good salary....but have to undergo training about new subjects i am going to work with.........can i take the offer or continue with my higher studies????????

I think higher studies in every dicipline or subject make you a real master at that perticular cience.
the rest applied courses or diplomas and carrier making is a latter part.
complete your post graduation,
other wise you will not get this opportunity afterwards.
You even loose the grip in this mech engg. field.
