For how many years ,software will survive from now ?

We had Y2k problem ,twin tower tragedy...is there any recession period will there for software in near future ?
How many years will it survive ? If you have any ideas post it here ...

Are you frustated and depressed in life?
Are you a broken heart?
Are you not successful in life?
Are you facing some financial problems?
Are you having any animal instict in you?
If any one of the above is true about you you must really attend it on emergency basis.
because those who wait and expect disasters have some or the other mentle or psycological disorders.
Kindly don't feel it bad but I just dared to advise you friendly and try to make your life happy as possible.
Attitudes are camera like they normally print you on paper.

ooh...thanks for your harsh reply about my attitude.The actual reason for my question is ,my brother was intersted in taking up the software or hardware field ,He is in first year now,it take four years to finish up his college and search for job.Its my duty to tell him that which field will have good scope in forth coming years .Its better to stay away before half heartly commited to that decision. Thats why I posted to this disscusion
