It will never be the same without her. She is so magnificent, and a really great singer. I was so shocked when I found that out and sad. I thought that both the bands music and Tarja's singing went together beautifully and I really wish they could have sorted out their differences and tried to keep working together. They are trying to find some other singer, but I don't know if that singer would ever be able to take her place. But we shall see...

After Tarja left, I stopped buying nightwish music. The way she left the band was in a so wrong way, it seems she got pretty bad treated by the band.
Tarja didnt have the best voice, and her english was horrible, but to me that became a part of the Nightwish charm. Her voice added magic to the songs, and noone will ever be able to take that spot of hers and do it like she did. Tarja is one of a kind.

Well, I am not happy about it since she was with them ever since the beggining and you can pretty much say she was 80% of the band's soul, since her voice is simply unique and groundbreaking. She did not have a professional attitude most of the time it seems, and being in a band envolves a lot of professionalism, no matter what some people may think, so they probably made the best decision for them as a whole. I hope the new replacement is decent enough, I'm confident.

i don't think anyone can do it better then she did to be honest.
she has the best voice out there imo.
i was very sad when i heard the news about her being kicked out of the band.
no one can replace her no matter how hard they search.
can't beat the best.

Noticing you are from Lapperanta...what is the yellow press saying up there recently on this matter? Any more gossip or are they more busy talking of Idols these days? ;)
Oh, Nina Tapio...now that'd be a great replacement, huh? :D

You know that Tarja it's not Nightwish and that Thomas it's making all the music. I think that a voice like Tarja's you can find everywhere...I thing that the singer from Evenescence and Within Temptation has unic voices and those bands will be nothing without them. The good sing in the band now it's Marco the bass player who realy rocks (symphony of distruction and high hopes realy ROCKS). So I'm waiting for the first album without Tarja, only with Marco. I so them in Bucarest and it was a nice concert to be, hope they will come again when the new album it's release.

It's not like Tarja equals Nightwish, but still, she was an important part of the band and the reasons why many have loved Nightwish. She might not have the best voice, but she had her unique style. Now, Nightwish without Tarja is not the same Nightwish... And it's ain't the change for good I think.

I think Tarja was a fundamental part of Nightwish and they will never be quite the same without her. However, given the reasons and circumstances for her removal from the band I cannot really say that I argue with the decision. I think though that Nightwish can and will survive without her. Just as Van Halen managed to endure so to will Nightwish because a great band is comprised of key musicians who all bring something to the mix and Nightwish is a great band.

Nightwish will be never the same without her. I still remember, that I read in the newspapers, that there is a concert in Hartwall arena, Helsinki, which is completely sold out. I was thinking to go there if it wasn't and then the very next day, the group broke and Tarja left to Argentina.
I did not hear about any greater nightwish success after she left, but I am not actually trying to find out anything new about them.

Well, at first I thought - what the difference. People join and leave bands often enough to get used to that. But after I heard their new singer... It's not that she's bad or something, but she's worse than Tarja in my opinion. And, what's probably going to become her main problem, she'll always be compared to Tarja... Nightwish is never going to be the same again, unfortunately.

I have listened to the new Nightwish album (and I think it's great), however, I still prefer Tarja's voice (it lends a certain magical quality to the songs, in my opinion). I think I'll buy her new album.
