Kind of people you meet in a chat room

I love chatting and it's because I like exchanging ideas with different people however, some of the drawbacks of these are.. I really don't know if those people whom I talked to are truthful or are pretentious. How would you know if someone you havent seen yet is telling you the truth or just making fun of you? Have you met people who eventually became your close friends through chat? Share your thoughts here.

it sometimes become tedious to know a person on the other side of ur chat server...hmmm but it sometimes plays an important role in finding a good mtch....so it doesn't always that bad...but sometimes

Yes, I love chatting too, and I've met many people in chatting who became my close-friends. Every-day I'm online, I always open mylot, and some messagers too. If I have a big problem, I always share my problem there & then we discuss it. They help me make my decission. I just love all my friends there.

ive met alot of people threw chat some were friends and some were just plainly insane lol u just have to talk to them awhile and read between the lines, trust your gut feelings there are never wrong. i also met my hubby online back in 2005 and married him in 2006 been happy every since :)
