Hey, Since starting the "drawing.. has any on ever" I thought about actually doing this again, since so many people mentioned that they did the same or i shouldn't stop. yeah i know i shouldn't of done but if you saw who made me stop i think you would. =) joking aside. Can anyone offer advice? Like where i can get inspired (i have one source)but i could do with a few more places. (knowing me if i don't like what i'm doing, i'll stop again but i am going to try) Feel free to share you stories, offer advise or just encourage me. =) Thanks!

i can't really advise you as such here. use that source you mentioned (poetryartonline.com) + also listen to what kind people here have to offer. since your last topic got a few replies which spoke about them re-taking it up after stopping. Goodluck with it!

Hello Joey, I would also like to be useful but I'm affraid I may fall a tad short of the mark. But here's to trying, because creativity is always in you, it's within all of us who truely appreciates any of the residents of "art". I'll share what little I know, I hope it can be helpful. "It's all about turning around the everyday ocular lense and look out the other end or better yet look within yourself. Seize it, knead it, mold it into something new. Play god with the spirit of creativity within you and 'alter your own perspectives' directly." I don't have a site to refer you to, or pages within any volume of a book. When I have the need to enforce inspiration I grasp my camera and put my feet on a path of finding new adventures. Often when I return home, the camera would reveal a lot more points of inspiration than I first imagined. With a photo you can do almost anything, think anything and relate almost anything. Now I know it sounds like I'm advocating 'everyone should go out and get a camera'. Even though they should that is not my point. ;-) Sound works just as well. I've played the piano as a child, indulged in every main-stream and underground music genre I came across. Even now I'm atempting to teach myself to read and play guitar music. You can say I'm fond I music, its ability to tantalize our thoughts and emotion is far reaching into a deep and rarely tapped source for inspiration. You may be doing these things now but this time listen and/or look at them closer. Switch genre and try something new. Or you can try what I like to do at times. Shuffle (Random) your entire library of music. The only thing is, you never know what will come up next. lol Music often helps me to establish a rhythm that won't be lost too quickly from memory. And I can easily slip back into just at the press of the "Play" button. I can't say any of this is good for anyone else but me, but please feel free to experiment. There are lots of other things you can try. Good luck in your continuance and upon completion may success greet you quickly for one so gifted.
