Jmusic

I think that anime is a gateway for people to listen to Jpop or JRock. That is how I got into Japanese music. Listening to opening and closing themes can open a door to a whole world of music! Japanese music is so unique and fun to listen to. My favorite artist is Tm Revolution, who sung a theme to Inu Yasha and Gundam Seed.

If I may speak out of character (*ehem!*) - these days you can find these songs on my playlist: Op / Ed sets of Mai Hime and Mai Otome Kaze no Tadori Tsuku Basho (from Kanon 2006) Bouken, deshou deshou and Hare Hare Yukai (from Suzumiya Haruhi) Pretty much the whole op/ed sets of Full Metal Alchemist There. Not a single one from my avatar's anime (Basilisk). What a hypocrite I am.

Yes, I've listened to a lot of cool japanese bands/singers that I didn't knew about in anime openings and endings such as Asian Kung-Fu Generation, The Pillows and Akeboshi for example.

My first was L'arc~en~ciel! Then I got into flow, Asian KungFu Generation, and Ayumi Hamasaki. But I also like musical scores from animes. Yoko Kanno is amazing!

L'Arc is great... but i also like BoA, Zone, and Round Table... Oh~! and Asian Kung-fu Generation... they rock~!

well... i like do as infinity (inuyasha),l'arc~en~ciel(fullmetal alchemist), ayume hamasaki (inuyasha), namie amuro (inuyasha), changin' my life (fullmoon wo sagashite).. but not all musics. i like many bands of j-music... i prefer j-rock, but j-pop is good too XP~

i like band High and Mighty Color they sing opening for bleach named Ichirin No Hana and pride for gundam seed. the other is UverWORLD of course they sing is D-Technolife for bleach and colors of the heart for blood + but i like larc~en~ciel too but not all of them

I like a lot L'Arc~en~ciel too, on DNA^2 and on GTO. But what I really like is Nipponsei on Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, I really love the 2 cd's, all the songs.

Orange Range for Bleach series. L'Arc~en~Ciel rocks too. Coming Century's song Breakthrough for Eyeshield 21. There's a whole lot more, wish I could just add them all. :p

I've been listening for JMusic for about 3 years now, and i am part of a band that plays Jmusic ^_^ yey! But we all started from listening to ending themes of anime, and then we spead off from there! Found that there's alot of other JMusic that is not really a OST from anywhere, but those too rocks! Am into Beck / Beat Crusaders theme right now.. ^_^

hmmm. not really on anime but various stuff like jdramas. variety shows and various music from different j artist. Do as Infinity on Inuyasha, i forgot others. hihihi! i also love Mika Nakashima and Gackt! lol

i do that also and some of them would be naruto, samurai x, gundam wing, sailor moon, etc

yeah i have always been doing that... i like well if we are talking about bands, i like aquatimez, homemade kazuko, l'arc-en-ciel, and in solo artist i like yui, and younha and keno(i'm just not sure if his solo or with a band). the song from naruto, bleach, hunterxhunter, gundam oo. i also like abingdon boys from d.gray-man.

well.. anime would be the starting/introduction to clueless pple to jbands. but for me, i didn't start watching animes to start liking these jbands or j music. artists like boa or ayumi is enough to draw pple in

yup i like listening to the opening/ending themes of anime series. i always make sure that i know the singers as well as the song and the album its from so i can search the net more about the group and thier type of music. i love V6 in inuyasha, BOA in inuyasha too. L'Arc~en~Ciel too is one of my fav. arashi utada hikaru... and many others.
