Has Internet replaced Telephone? Give us your view.

in my opinion no i talk on the internet to people that are far away but istill use my phone for family and friends that are close

1)Off course Internet is best for communication than phone. Now a days it has facility to listen/talk,write/read and see at a time which a telephone don't have. 2)Internet is cheaper than phone. 3)for peoples which are far away from from us could be contacted with fastest way. But on the other hand phone is handy could be conviniently used anytime,anywhere. One more thing, to talk to near and dear ones people still prefer phone because it keeps privacy.

In the city where I live, internet has not yet replaced telephone. But mobile phones are replacing fixed network telephones. Many new families are giving up the use of traditional telephones. They use mobiles handsets as the only means for communication.

Thats a good topic dear. Telephone and internet are two of the most popular ways of communication in this era. Actually what is happening the gap between telephone and internet is coming closer on day-by-day. What I mean to say is internet is used now a days for voice communication which earlier done through phone only. On the other hand now we can browse our mails using mobile, which is nothing but a basic telephone hardware. Due to this synergy people started choosing which is most beneficial for their each requirements. Your guess is right, for sending a message e-mail is cheaper and more effective. And for talking also internet is cheaper. But phones are more widespread and they are easily accessed. So it can be said that internet can not replace phones, rather it will complement it and helps to get evolved in a better way!!!
