How could I improve my star rating?

At the beginning, I had 8 but now I have only 6: I think it is because of a discussion I started which hurt some people
I would like to improve my star rating but I can't manage doing it: I improve my english day after day so I make more and more quality response but it changes anything...
Please help me, why can I do? Have you some tips?

On that same note make interesting discussions, and never do the one liner thing if you're creating a new discussion. You're not going to get a high rating for that.
If you want to boost the star rating right now then make neutral discussions, ones that have no possible way of offending anybody. If you write well your rating will improve!
Even though your English may not be 100% people can still tell a good topic when they see it.
