Do you mean what does MLM stand for? If so, it means multi-level marketing. You get paid a percentage for the purchases of people that enroll in the program under you, and under them.

Yes, I'm actually part o more than one. Probably not the only one in more businesses though, but maybe one of the few promoting them all through the same system (7DeadlySins).
