I plan on breastfeeding my Daughter untill she is at least a year old. I enjoy breastfeeding her because I know she is getting the nutrients she needs and it has created a bond between the both of us. She knows when she is hungry I am always there to feed her and I feel this is a wonderful security for her. If you breastfed or know anyone who breastfeeds what age do you think is the appropriate age to breastfed to?? and when you are ready to stop how do you go thru with it?? My daughter also takes a bottle with breastmilk in it? Will it be easier to wean her off the breast??

The World Health Organization reccomends until at least 2 years of age and beyond that for s long as it is mutually wanted by both the parent and child. I weaned my first son at 16 months, something that I now feel guilty for doing. My second son will nurse until he is rady to wean. Most children wean around 3 years of age.
