Do you think drag racing is a safe sport? Or is it even a sport?

We have seen numerous movies about this stuff. Although you are just driving on a straight line, do you think it is safe?

Hi. I think drag racing should not be considered a sport. It is too dangerous to be considered a sport as many innocent lives are lost when accidents occur.

I really have split ideas about this type of racing. It's like a sport but not quite. =/ I dunno. Maybe people should just stick to traditional racing. It's safer than drag racing (at least thats what I think).
