Guitar amps

Hi all, I play electric guitar, but at the moment I just plug it into my PC and play it that way. I want to get an amp though so I can have more fun, and I want something that has decent distortion and maybe a few effects. Unfortunately I don't have that much money to spend. Does anyone have any ideas on what is a good but cheap little amp I could get?

There's a few options depending on what size amp you want.
You can pickup an 80watt peavey bandit transtube 112 second hand for about £100.
Its has great tones and you can use it for any style of music from country/jazz to metal.
If your looking for somthing cheaper theres always the behringer guitar amp, Also great alrounders. Look at www.thomann.de
