hmmm I agree that azumanga is sort
BUt REC also sort. 12 eps. and every eps is only 10 minutes

The Azumanga Daioh TV series has 26 episodes. So it isn't really short. But the movie is short. 5 minutes.
For anime that are shown on TV, the shortest I've seen so far is Kyou no Go no Ni (Today in Class 5-2). It has 5 episodes, each 5 minutes short. =)

The shortest anime is the Azumanga Daioh Movie. It has a single, 5-minute episode. It was shown in Japanese theatres.

I dont know if it is the shortest but I know it is pretty short with a total of 12 episodes. Ichigo 100% its kinda cute
