The OEDIPUS feeling. Oedipus feeling is, when a son, who is mature enough, falls in love with his mother, and seduces her to have physical relationship with him. It only happens, when a woman has been left alone by her husband, and against all odds she has to raise her son and in turn looks for some support from him.

I learned about the Oedipus complex when i was studying literature. Some critics say that the Oedipus complex was evident in Hamlet. As far as i know its when the male gets rid of his own father to leave his mother free.
