do u forgive or punish/take revenge

suppose ur close friend has done some mistake which spoiled ur character and ur growth in life by which hurted u a lot waht would u do? do u forgive him or punish him???..

i'll forgive him coz he is my close frnd and it'll make him realise that wat he hs done is wrong.coz if i'll punish or take revenge it'll just ruin our frndship totally bt forgiving can improve the mistakes.

Difficult to make a decision. If i were in the moment that you mention, i would do something like punishment. However, it might not a good idea. Something that has just happened never be changed anymore. So, what is punishment used for?? Do you call it you are friend?? I might consider that too even if it is really difficult to choose a right decision.

but knowling that if he does ..automatiacally we dont feel like forgiving him thats the general human nature..

if he come to me and felt regret about what he did with me and if he is feeling his sin in his hear then i might forgive him..i ll never punish him because then whats the difference between him and me
