Yes, he is a pop icon, but also he is strange, strange, and stranger. Did I mention a possible child molestor? Of course this is all my opinion. I mean lots of guys get their hygienist to carry their babies as a surrogate.

MJ is and always will be a pop icon. based on pure talent and all that he has done for the pop music world,he's a shoe-in for an all time legend title. its unfortunate that all of his musical genius has been subverted by the mess he's always getting into. love him or hate him, but you sure as hell cant ignore him. his penchant for getting into controversies is eerie!one can almost say that he has a nose for trouble! lol but seriously though, his songs still are played all over the world and his dance moves imitated by millions worldwide(or at least TRIED to be imitated!! they are SO hard!)

he is till the number one pop icon of all era or irrespective of the time.no one can math him as an individual,besides all his bad qualities he as a man i hate him but his work in music is excellent and that is enough for music lovers and all the unlikely qualities are to be thrown away.
