Which is the best processor- INTEL or AMD ?

intel is the best...

I thnink intel becouse it working in all climate like indian and us climate also smoothly.

Intel is the best because mostly all type of software and hardware support this processor.

Depends on what you mean by the term best. As far as performance is concerned- Single core- AMD Athlon- The Intel does not come near in performance, processing power, and also costs more. For the years 2002-2005, AMD was the best processor, thrashing Intel in all departments inspite of costing less. Dual core- However, it changed in 2006, with the advent of the dual core processors. For dual core Intel beats AMD in almost all departments except possibly mathematical calculations. Quad core- Intel, AMD quad has not yet come out. However, if you factor in costs for the average user, it is AMD especially in India.

I m having INTEL as the processor in my system. I've never worked on the system, having AMD as a processor in it. Some of my frenz says that INTEL is the best.
