Be DEAF or be MUTE?

If in a really unfortunate situation, you'll be forced to choose between being deaf (not being able to hear anything) or being mute (not being able to say anything), what would you choose? You cannot choose none (for some reason.. =D)
I'd rather be mute than be deaf.

i'll chose mute coz it's hard to be deaf. its nice to hear what they saying even you cant say a word but at least you understand what they are talking.

Yeah. it's better to not be able to speak up than not being able to hear what people around you are talking about. =(

I think I would rather be mute because it seems no one hears a word I say anyways, LOL. Then when I cannot talk, I have no reason to feel badly when no one listens.

Yeah. I really is miserable not being able to hear anything. At least we could stil relay what we want to say to other people if we are mute by some other means. =)
And being deaf means no MUSIC! =(
