my neighbors are buying a new flat-screen tv just to watch the bears in miami? anyone else out there doing the same thing? i guess it's a good investment, what with all the new tv's being HD and with cable/satelitte switching to HD. it will be cool to see the game on such a fancy machine... what do you think... worth it or not?

Wow! They must be really looking forward to the big game!
If they can afford it and will get a lot of enjoyment out of it, I suppose it would be a worthwhile purchase. I'd have a hard time spending that kind of money, though.
The Moose Lodge I belong to finally raised enough money to purchase two HDTV's. They were set up this week, just in time for the Super Bowl. It made me feel good to have done volunteer work to help raise money for the TV's. They are already being enjoyed for old movies, video channels, and sporting events.
