Breast feeding in public?

What are everyones thoughts about breast feeding in public? It seems to be a big controversy these days- How does it make you feel to see someone doing this? Do you yourself breastfeed your child in public?

There is nothing wrong with it. It is natural and I 'm sure most prefer it to a crying baby.

What is so embarassing about it? If people are embarassed, that's their problem.

nothings is bad in it and i am not too against it because when ur child cry than what to do .
but i personally don't like to do this publically .
i always take a bottle of my baby , if she need than i just give to her .
but i haven't did it in public .

Why? What exactly is "disgusting" about a natural part of life? Why is a woman feeding her child "disgusting"?

This is something that is very natural and way to controversial. You have to feed in public sometimes, unless you are a hermit. But that is what receiving blankets are. If people really object then they should insure that there are nice comfortable places for a Mom to nurse a baby and that does not include disgusting restrooms.
Maybe some nice couches,some quiet music, a changing table and a play area if Mom has other kids.
