Do you think Johnny Depp will ever win an Oscar? Why or why not?

I definetly think that Johnny will win an oscar. He is an amazing actor and he is so diverse in the roles he plays. He never plays the same roles over and over again and he takes on some hard and demanding roles. In my opinion he should have already won like 20 oscars. I love him so much. I can't wait to see him in more movies to come. Any movie I have ever seen with him in it has been good. In fact I can't recall him playing in a bad movie and if he did his acting was still awesome. I'd really like to see him play in a really romantic movie. I love it when he is so sweet and romantic. I wish I could be the leading lady.

i think he should win an oscar yes, it sucks he doesnt have any atm...i love johnny depp, hes so talented...the guy is a genius

I hope he does. I think he is talented as well as handsome. I was impressed with him perfected a Scottish accent in the movie "Finding Neverland" I am from Scotland so it hurts my ears when I hear a phony accent.

I really hope he does, his movies and acting is great, but maybe it's not the kind of role Hollywood is looking for :/

He'll probably win one eventually, but I think Hollywood doesn't take him too seriously yet. He's very versatile and talented, but maybe he needs to "ripen" a bit more. He's done some heavyweight roles, but not in the kinds of movies that get noticed by award givers.

He has been nominated for a few , so I think eventually he will pull one down. As long as he keeps getting these awesome parts he will have good chances. Most of his parts are done with a style that only he can create, and eventually he will take to gold statue home.
