its one and the same especially here in our country. we have our system filled with politicians who are involved in crimes. and unless you have a criinal record you do not get ticket for becoming a member. tell me friends should the common man trust this system and people who are here just to make money. country cannot be run by handful of good politicians. it is written in our rules that person who has police record or any crimina record should not be given seat in parliment but alas nobody follows it. where is our countrys future heading????????????????????

Yes,what you said is absolutely correct.Politicians are becoming the criminals and also criminals are becoming the politicians, this is the worst thing in the country, they are behaving as the street fighters.I don't like this politics at all.

I don't believe that a politician is a criminal. We should be careful with our words here. A corrupt politician, now that's a criminal if ever I saw one. Not all politicians are corrupt but the majority of them are. Sometimes they have no shame and even lecture the citizens that voted for them. The politicians even come to blows with fellow politicians over their petty differences. One is saying the other is corrupt and the other vice versa. It's a constant pointing finger blame game. I specially don't like it when the politicians are deceiving the people. They say that we don't have the budget and we should economize and yet they're the ones who have a hefty paycheck and live a over luxurious and you'll just wonder if truly you're country is poor. They'll also say that our country has improved over the years, how will they know? They're not even listening to the people and they're not on the receiving end of poverty. Absolute power truly corrupts!

I guess it's true, politicians are criminals and criminals are politicians. With the present condition of the government all over the world, I don't trust any politicians these days. I simply hate them for they are cheaters. They cheat the people through their promises etc.

almost every country in this world have gone through the corruption stage after thier independece.. and its not very new thing.. its only it takes time for a country to get mature enough to understand and handle the situation. Corruption starts because of good thing and it will end also because of good thing, but yeah corruption is bad.
in US also corruption started after independence and they took it off, its still there but now its not upto root level and its not at big scale like in India we have, but yeah it will take time, and India is not mature enough.. its only around 60years of independence... but in next 20-40 years corruption will be very less. :)
