Time with family and being able to watch my son open his gifts and see his eyes light up. Best gift I could ever get!

Christmas is magical. You can see it, feel it, smell it, hear it, and even taste it. Christmas is a blessed event that makes non-believers believe the power of love. It's wishes being granted - dreams coming true. So this Christmas season, look around and see that gift that can’t be bought. Make someone’s day and do the unexpected, let a friend know you care, or greet a stranger with a warm smile, or fill the heart of little young ones with happiness. Give the gift that keeps on giving. Its open twenty-four hours a day, three hundred and sixty five days a year, it’s a gift from the heart. Afterall, isn’t that what Christmas is all about? But most of all, it has to live, all year long, deep within your heart. Christmas isn't for a day - it's all year long. Christmas is a lifetime affair.
(got this in one of my readings...)

Christmas is all about family and spirituality to me. I love the feeling I get when I'm around the people I love wrapped up in our moments of visiting, sharing, giving, etc. It reminds me of why we are here through Jesus Christ. I wish it could be like Christmas all year round, all around the world. Just sharing with one another.

usually people have reasons to hate a holiday like Xmas, and I think maybe something bad happened at that for them or they're lonely, don't have anyone to celebrate the holiday with. I wouldn't take it too personally. The person was just being honest with the question.

I think, he knows us all before we were born. You are trying to say that; the past, present and future sins we have committed. Thanks for your comment.GBU

Yap, children are gifts from God. As parents, we are stewards of our children. You have great and nice kids! Enjoy your time with them until they are young because when they are grown ups, they will have their own world to deal and they will not accompany us, wherever we want to go! God bless your children!

What makes Chrismas special to me?? Well, It's when my family stops fighting enough to get together and remember what a special day it is..And remember that although we argue and fight we all still love each other....

well, my mom has made the rules no fighting or they have to leave and that they would not be invited to a next one if they were to be a next one...i hate fighting never start many fights unless you count the ones with hubby and those arent fights, just yelling discussions lol but it does stop the fighting at mom's house atleast after that it's anyones guess i have a big family and it seems that all of us have different personalities and they clash sometimes...I'm usually the peace maker... if that don't work a big loud yell works most times to tell them to shut the he(( up and stop fighting lol ...

Family makes it special.. forget the gifts.. as long as my family is around it is great. But the kids don't relize that, so we do get them gifts. We have over 60 people at my moms house on Christmas eve and my brother, his wife, their baby, my husband, our daughter, and me all stay so that my mom can enjoy the kids on Christmas morning.

It's alright, when we were kids at Christmas times, we feel very sad if we don't receive any gifts... But when we are grown ups, we understand that's not the gift per se but the love of togetherness and unity!!!!!!!
