My husband loves potato salad and I make it quite a bit..
I have tried a few different recipes but am looking for some new twists or secret ingrediants you use to make your potato salad special..
One little trick i picked up a long time ago was to boil the potatoes whole with the skin on...Leaving the skin on keeps a lot of the flavor in and then peeling the skin off is a breeze ( much better than peeling before hand)
I use some mayo, celery, chives, and a small dash of mustard for flavor..that's my basic recipe..
Any other great ideas out there?

I'm not the expert, my sister Reta is the official family potatoe salad maker. She uses a whole dozen hard cooked eggs. I know she puts diced radishes and pickle relish in and its the best. Myself I like to put onion, celery, eggs, pickle relish and I mix mircle whip and mayo together along with yellow mustard for the dressing. The mayo cuts some of the sweetness.
