One thing i always make sure i fit into my busy schedule is running. Aside from keeping healthy, i find it clears my mind and actually energizes me for the remainder of the day. I enjoy running long distances on our treadmill. Unfortunately this puts an enormous amount of stress on my feet. Even moreso than my legs or abs, i find my feet aching, sometimes minutes into the run! What can i do to alleviate the pain? Putting in insoles hasnt even helped.

I think you more or less answered your own question, making sure you have good comfortable shoes is essential especially when you are doing running sports, you are pounding your feet and putting a lot of pressure of them. I found that when I went for reflexology, foot massage it helped a great deal, but it can be expensive. It may not work for your good self but I find that Body Shop (if you have them) peppermint foot cream is ideal for the feet, after you've had a shower rub the cream well into your feet, it cools them down and also makes them smell good and may help. Good luck and welcome to Mylot

Your shoes might not offer enough support for your arch. Try buying new running shoes that are ment for people with high arches or try getting fitted for the correct type of shoe.
