What is Aztec, New Mexico like?

Sometimes I get bored at work so I like to wander around a little on the internet, looking up whatever pops into my mind. I live in the Midwest where it can get VERY cold, so one day I decided to find someplace that I would like to live where it would be warmer. I chose New Mexico because it is below Colorado. My husband spent most of his childhood in Colorado and really wants to go back. But I liked New Mexico better because of the hunting. Colorado has alot of elk, but New Mexico has bigger ones. I figured we could live in New Mexico, so we wouldn't have to try to get an out of state tag, but we could always go hunt in Colorado where we would be guaranteed to get an elk. Then I thought that north New Mexico would be better so my husband wouldn't be very far from Colorado. I found a little town called Aztec. I liked it because it was little, but yet big enought to have a few restaurants, a couple motels, and grocery and department stores. But then I checked on the weather and it looks like it isn't much different than up here. I was just wondering if anyone had been there, or lives there, and if you could tell me all about it.
