Why Team India is underperforming?

There was a time when Sachin's batting used to make us proud but now we have stopped expecting any runs from him.Likewise it seems that the whole Team India lacks energy and aggressiveness. Its scary. Can u tell me why team India is underperforming?

indian team is underperforming due to overconfidence or sometimes due to pride...moreover lack of pratical skills required to play in foreign soils is als a drawback..

Because most of the players are out of form, is batsman score runs bowlers fails in that match, if bowlers bowl well then Batsman fails, cricket is a team game, every one should contribute for the team, both bowlers and batsman and also the fielders
