Is God egosistical?

Is is just me or does the Left Behind series seem to make God look egotistical? The first book I was fine. Then I got into the next 10 and by the end I found I was having to fight to not compare God and the Anti-Christ. I mean both are fighting over us. Both want us to worship them and love them, and because of the judgements being delt out, I really found myself begining to wonder who was worse. But then I read the last book (Glorious Appearing) and it all made sense. God and Jesus are most definatly the good guys. I wanted to be Rayford standing there and looking into the face of Jesus so bad I cried. But through out the other books, I really did wonder. Did you see that too?

He really is. I never really thought of God the way those books made me. I always thought that he wanted to love us like the children we are. By the time I finished reading the last book in the series I did realize the one thing that made all the difference in the world. God wants us to go to him for love, comfort, protection, and advice. God wants us to love him as much as he loves us. Satan wants us to love him and worship him just because he thinks he deserves it. The big difference is how they vie for our attention. God uses love while satan pretends to love only to really abuse us. Thanks for the response!

We believe in God and Jesus because of the Bible. We believe the Bible based on faith. Faith is the bases of our religion and we do have to keep that faith. Satan works hard on us every day, trying to lead us from the narrow path that Jesus asks us to walk. I'll keep you in my prayers! Thanks for responding.
