My 3 year old son just wondered through from his bedroom where he's meant to be watching a video and going to sleep and discovered dthat Daddy had made fruit strudle and ice cream.
He thought he might like some and hlped me eat it. When he had eaten enough - mostly the ice-cream eh took the spoon and fed me the rest, he's so gentle it's really sweet! Then he poddled off back to bed.
Do your little ones do cute stuff like this?

My son loves to cuddle and he is 6 now. I'm going to enjoy it while I can, I imagine in a year or two he isn't going to want much to do with mommy anymore. He gets me a pillow and blanket and will tuck me in sometimes.

That has to be easily the sweetest thing that I have read all day! Awww! ^_^ Your son sounds like the biggest sweetheart. I would love to have a child who would be so sweet and feed me after he was full. That is just simply adorable. Thank you for sharing your story with all of us. I'm sure that it will bring a smile to many faces around Mylot! It definitely brought a smile to my face! ^_^

Kids do sweetest things. I was sick with chickun gunya couple weeks back and thats the first time my two kids saw me sick. So they were so scared and was sitting by me, holding my hands, feeling my head, feeling my hands and legs. I was so happy. You know we are so lucky to have loving kids.

So sweet to hear of the kindness of one so young. Glad that you were able to experience it. Would have been nice to hear he brushed his teeth before sleeping after that sweet treat! Mine were adorable like that when young they are almost teens now and then interaction is changing. They are neat to see grow up though and enjoy yours while you can!!

My husband and I usually kiss our children goodnight and whisper "I love you" when we put them to bed. One night, I was trying to put our eldest (who is almost 3 years old)to bed when I dozed to sleep. I noticed my son singing a melody while he was scratching my back, when he's done singing he run his fingers thru my hair and ask " are you asleep mommy?" i didnt answer and acted as if I was, then he kiss me on my lips and say "I love you mommy"

They used to when they were small. The oldest never had a stingy bone in his body, would feed you his last bite of anything. The youngest was a random hugger, anytime anywhere for no special reason. Now his son who just turned 1 a couple of days ago is the same way.I come in he heads straight for my and hugs my legs before I can even pick him up.;-)

Ahh! What a lovely story. We haven't got any children, but I'm desperate for some. We are going to try this year, fingers crossed that it works out.

That is an adorable story, thank you for sharing it! My kiddos are all nasty (kidding) teenagers and one pre-teen now....so I really miss those days when they were all small and did cute things like that. Sigh ... I suppose I'll have to wait for grand babies ... :)

I have a three year old son too. He does sweet lil things like bringing anyone who sneezes a tissue and saying "bleshyou!" He also tries to feed me from his plate at dinner. LOL I guess he does that because I do that to him all the time. When he thinks I'm tired he come up to me and stroke my hair and say"Aww, you tired Mommy." LOL

That is adorable! My son is 15 months old, and he does some cute things already. He loves to carry around two building blocks with him. He chews on them constantly. Then one day we're sitting in bed together and he sticks one of the blocks in his mouth, then puts one in mine. I stare at him for a while and he goes "num num." I guess he figured I would enjoy chewing on a block as much as he does.

Oh how sweet! My little boy is the same way, so loving, always telling me "I love you mama" and rubbing my face and playing with my hair. He is such a sweetie, so snuggle and cuddly, like my own little teddy bear. I just love him so much!

Yes they do. They are very thoughtful and kind most of the time! They will see me upset, or just frustrated, and say "Whats wrong mommy, are you ok?", and I tell them yes, and hug them for being so attentive and kind. They do this amongst theirselves also. They will always try to share their food or whatever they have with me, and I guess thats because no matter what I am eating, I offer them a bite too. Thats really good, he thought about you, and at 3 thats a good lesson to be teaching. I love it when my kids do little things like this, makes me feel wonderful as a parent, that I am doing something right!

yes, my oldest one does the same thing!
she is like a parrot with talking, sometimes she speaks
the words so right i am amazed about it, and sometimes i can't even figure out what she says to me!
she helps me cleaning the house, i give her an old towel and she cleans the sofa and i do the floor!
so funny to see her she takes it 100% serious.

Bless her, in a few years you'll not be able to get her near a duster , lol.
Roo washes up, sweeps the floor, loads the dishwasher, tuts and tidies, they are so sweet, he was tidying their room the other day which his big brother would never do.
They are so sweet whan thay are small, why must our cuties loos so much charm as they grow?
10 years time they'll hate us.

That's very sweet, he sounds alot like my oldest (2 years old). Often times I catch him being extremly sweet to his little brother, if the baby is crying, he will go in the room, and say, "its okay baby, I'm here.. don't cry." and he's very sweet to me as well, I had two teeth pulled and was in alot of pain, and I think he could tell, all day he would keep coming up to me and kissing me and telling me "it's okay momma, I'm here..." and hug me and ask me if was okay. Aww. it's those kind of things that help you through the day when their little monsters do come out.

That is so cute...CJ will do that now as well; he used to not be able to share with anyone. I'd ask him, "can mommy have a bite?" and he'd say, 'no'...Now, he's just like your little guy; when he's had enough of ice cream (with us it was mexican fried ice cream the other day) he says, "mommy and daddy will eat it?"...He's trying so hard and your little guy is doing the same. Glad to hear it.

Bless him, I'm so glad CJ is learning to share, Bong still has to be asked and you can tell he's thinking really hard about whether he is going to, he does it grudgingly, little monkey.
I think that's why Roos' generosity always touches me, the 4 years between them seems so small sometimes, lol

Aren't they always cutest when they are supposed to be sleeping? I love listening to my 2 year old tell stories to her "babies" at night when she is in her crib. She is so expressivve and loving with them, it makes me realize that if she is like this with her babies, it is because I am like that with her, and it makes me feel good at the end of a long day.
