Life of Grime: New York

i watched it last nite too! but id only seen it for the first time and omg, i dont know how they could put up with that...the fact that the rats were so resiliant and dont care about humans being around was a bit freaky to watch. i felt so bad for the tenants of that building who have tried to keep them out - i hope it works this time. i found it interesting also about the crime scene cleaners...that would be an icky job and as much as i love my crime shows and i find it all fascinating, that side is what would turn me off lol. i know that the rats happen in certain areas but damn i didnt think it was that bad an issue in such a famous city. makes me realize how lucky we are over here in australia where we do get them but not so much and not so brazen.

Yes I watched it last night and was horrified to think that poor woman with her young children had to live like that, Just sitting there watching the "huge" rats go about their business made my stomach turn, as I freak out when I see a mouse. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have only experienced mice and on the outside and the fact they film what they do and it is like an everyday event for them amazes me! Pretty gory stuff in that show!

All cities can become this bad it is a problem that living in close proximaty to each other breeds. Trash can not be allowed to stay in the city and we must keep it clean. Or the vermin will take over. This has been a problem for centuries and caused the plague in Europe.
