I'm definitely a night person. Right now I'm trying to transition my sleeping pattern to a more "normal" one of being awake during (some of) the day and sleeping at (most of the) night. It's not working too well. :P
My natural sleeping pattern is to go to bed between 3 - 6 a.m. and get up 10-12 hours later. (I also require more sleep than the average person -- who doesn't sleep enough, btw).
I'm at my best around 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. I'm more alert, more creative and more active than at any other time of day or night. Always have been.

Sometimes I feel like I want to stay up half the night. Like I might miss something if I go to bed. Then a part of me says that it is getting late and I need to go to bed. I want to get up early and not waste away the day. I have never been able to figure out into which category I really fit. Now that I am older, I guess I am resigned to being a day person.

I would definately call myself a night person. I absolutely hate having to get up at 6 in the morning to start work at 7. I have always said that if God expected us to get up when it was still dark we would have been born with spotlights attached to our heads.
Even as far back as when I was in school I was never able to get up in the mornings and when I started working I found that I enjoyed working the night shift a lot more, so I did that for 11 years.
Unfortunately once you work the night shift for that period of time I think it is practically impossible to get your body clock running any other way, which is why, even after working the day shift for the past few years, I am still not able to get to sleep before 3 in the morning and when you have to get up at 6 a.m that is an absloute killer. You would think that after a few days of that, you would be so tired you sowuld be able to go to sleep at a resonable hour, but no, you somehow go passed it and never catch up on the sleep you so desperatley need.
I just plan to sleep forever when I reach retirement age, that is if I can ever get to sleep in the first place.

I am more of a night person instead of a morning person. I can stay up late but have an awful time getting up in the morning.

I'm a night person. I like to stay up late, but I like to sleep late in the mornings.

Love the nights. Prefer working the night shift too. Never liked getting up early in the morning.

I would probably consider myself to be a night person also. I am always tired in the morning, and I am very reluctant to work during the day. I go to bed for a couple of hours at night, then I often get up again to do some household chores or just surf the internet or play computer games. I think my bioligical clock need to be reset.
