Ganglion Cysts

Has anybody ever had a ganglion cyst on their wrist? If so, did you have to have surgery on it? i have had mine aspirated three times and now I was told I may need surgery. I was wondering if anybody has had success with the surgery or did the cyst re-appear?

I have had a ganglion on my wrist for five years. It has burst on its own about 1-2 times per year and came back every time. Over a year ago I was referred to a hand surgeon. I have yet to have the surgery because I too worry it will return. Yes, please, is there anyone who has had a surgery successful or otherwise?
