what processor do you currently have?

i have an amd athlon, i forgot which series.. but its pretty old, i'd say about 5 years old now.. i think i need an upgrade. i was thinking about the dual core processor.. but too expensive.. what processor do you mylot fellew people have?

I have an Intel Core2Duo proseccor and that is what you have to buy.The models are 6300,6400,6600,66700.I have the 6600 which is at 2.4Ghz but dont forget with 2 cores.

We have the same processor right now but I'm planning to buy a dual core processor. either Intel or AMD. But for me i need a LapTop processor that why i prefer intel but if i need a destop processor i choose AMD for gaming. heheh
