I don't get why cell phone companies charge so much. I'm with T-Mobile and my bill would come to about 70$ each month with the package I had. Then I added my brother on so we can have a family plan, it saved me a lot of money that way. My bill is down to about $50 a month. How much do you spend on your cell phone bill?

I very rarely use my cellphone, as my landline calls are free after peak hours. I have a Pay as you Go cell phone and as I do not use up all the credit within a year, I find myself having to top it up again at the end of every 12 months. I would say, between the three cell phones which I have, my bill would only come to €45 per year.

Wow that's very cheap for a whole year. I pay that month every month!

My bill is normally around 30p/month (about 50-60 cents). I am with orange and was on a tarrif that charged £20 / month even if I didn't make any calls, but found a different set of charges which I changed over to, and cost is 15p/minute for first 5 minutes a day (at any time) then 5p/minute for the rest of the day. If I send a text message it is 10p and to listen to voicemail is free. Freephone numbers used to be free as well, but are now charged. I get a bill every month (must cost them more to send it than I pay most months).
Most I've paid since I moved to this tarrif is £7.50.

That's funny, but it's good for you because you save money.

My husband and I are on the family plan and our cell phone bill is never less than $150 a month. Most of this is because he uses it for work and so do I. My dad's is never over $45 a month and my sister had hers turned off because she kept running the bill over $200 just for herself. She said that she was spending to much money because she talks to much. Now she just has a home phone.

My bill before I joined it with my hubby, was about $50 a month, and it was easy to manage, and worked well for me, I had everything I wanted on the statement, including messaging. But then, I added with my husband, and ours is supposed to be around $130, but it is more like $230. It frustrates me, because I cannot get it down, nor organized, because he uses it for our business, and he also uses it for all his personal calls. I try to manage them better, but it always gets messed up again. I want to get a change made, after I see the next bill, so that we can lessen the cost, and get more minutes. Hopefully...

$230 is a lot for each month. You should get a plan that has a lot of whenever minutes and free nights and weekends so he doesn't go over your minutes.

Way too much! You guys in the US have much better cell plans than we do here in Canada. I spend about 50.00 or so, and I don't hardly use it.

Im with cingular and my bill is never what it is suppose to be which is around $50. We were going over our mins. so we change our plan to have 1400 mins. which will run us about $90 a month now. We are still waiting on our first bill to see if this helped. If not we are switching to another company..
