What was your favorite "kid" show when you were little?

the smurfs!! I love them and I miss them so bad!

I loved so many! I remember when "Pinwheel", a show on Nickelodeon, toured with some of their cast members and did a free show two days in a row here at a local mall. I went back more than once! I really loved that show. It had all kinds of little skits and characters and different things, and I think that it was at least an hour or two long. I don't remember too much else about it. There must have been countless other shows that I loved, as well, but for some reason this is the main one that's coming to my mind right now *laugh* I can't quite remember Today's Special, but I _know_ that I saw it! The title alone brought back a nostalgic feeling, but nothing else came to mind about it! *laugh*

Presto the Magic Clown! I reckon he was on in the early 70's and couldn't waite to get home from school to watch him.

My favorite wasn't really a kid show, but a family show... I loved Little House on the Prairie! We used to watch that show every single week and never missed an episode! A few years ago, I was able to watch reruns after I got home from work, but it's not on when I can watch it now.... After I got older, I loved the Cosby Show. We laughed so hard when we watched that show!

We never had a TV till I was about 9 or so. We were not allowed to watch it though because "it is not fit for kids to watch". LOL On Sunday, we would pop a dishpan full of popcorn and us kids would sit in the floor and Dad and Mom would sit on the couch. We would all watch Walt Disney. We loved it. I had forgotten about that. Thanks for asking this question.

My favorite kid show was Bugs Bunny and Road Runner. I remember that cartoons were only on Saturday mornings when I was a kid so we looked forward to that all week. LOL Tom and Jerry and Bugs Bunny were my fav things that I looked forward to.

I loved watching Sesame Street! :) And then right after Sesame Street, a Yoga class would come on. My mother would still be sleeping and I would do the yoga with the lady on TV. But one morning, my mother go up and saw me...she said she thought I had broken my legs. It scared her so bad, I was no longer allowed to watch TV in the mornings. :(

As far as educational I loved Reading Rainbow and The Letter People. My mom says I HATED Sesame street and she could never make me watch it. As far as cartoons I loved Jem and the Holograms, The Smurfs, She-ra, Thundercats, My Little Ponies, the Carebears...

I was so in love with I dream of Jeanie! I even had PJ's that were like Jeanie's outfit! Thought I was the BOMB! lol And I loved Lassie.

I actually had two favorites. I couldn't really choose between the two. My favorites were SheRa:Princess of Power, and the CareBears. I loved both of them and had my room decorated in both since I couldn't choose!
